Snowflakes
The Creator of Snowflakes

“God thunders with His voice wondrously,
   Doing great things which we cannot comprehend.
For to the snow He says, ‘Fall on the earth,’
   And to the downpour and the rain, ‘Be strong.’" (Job 37:5-6)

“Have you entered the storehouses of the snow,
   Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail."  (Job 38:22)

"He sends forth His command to the earth; His word runs very swiftly.
He gives snow like wool; He scatters the frost like ashes.
He casts forth His ice as fragments; who can stand before His cold?
He sends forth His word and melts them."  (Psalm 147:15-18)
"Under the microscope, I found that
snowflakes were miracles of beauty; and it
seemed a shame that this beauty should not be
seen and appreciated by others. Every crystal
was a masterpiece of design and no one design
was ever repeated.  When a snowflake melted, that
design was forever lost. Just that much beauty
was gone, without leaving any record behind."

- Wilson A. Bentley  (The Snowflake Man)

Wilson Bentley would go on to capture more than
5000 snowflakes during his lifetime, not finding any two alike.
Snow Comparisons

“I kept looking until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took
His seat; His vesture was like white snow."  (Daniel 7:9)

"His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow."  (Revelation 1:14)

"An angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.
And his ppearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow."  (Matthew 28:2-3)
“Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD,
“Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow."  (Isaiah 1:18)

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth
   And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;
   It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire,
   And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it."  (Isaiah 55:10-11)
